La Vieja Bodega

Our project began in 1994 with the aim of offering our clients a pleasant place where they could enjoy a memorable meal accompanied by good wines and a friendly top quality service.

In La Vieja Bodega rediscover every day the pleasure of eating, and each corner has a unique charm and flavors. Each dining room has its own flavor and ambiance. There are 2 large but cozy dining halls, with high beaming ceilings and stone walls, and also two private dining rooms, both with a fireplace. The fifth dining area is a glass-fronted terrace with views of the garden and a hearth around which to relax after a satisfying meal.

The total capacity is approximately 220 diner guests.

Other facilities

- Two wine caves dating from the 17th century, Gardens and children´s playground, Easy access for handicapped clients, Spacious parking facilities. The grounds including the garden and playground come to approximately 5.000 m² and the parking facilities are for around 40 vehicles.

La Vieja Bodega is located in an exceptional location. It is located in Casalarreina, one of the most interesting towns of La Rioja, because of his civil and religious architecture, the beautiful scenery of the Oja river banks, and his proximity to other tourist and cultural centers.

The Kitchen.

The design and capacity of our dining rooms and our kitchen facilities enable us to offer a la carte menus and also for business groups, wedding receptions, communion banquets and any other type of celebrations.

We can adapt to the unique requirements of our clients by creating special menus for groups to fit every occasion.

The wine cellar

Two deep underground cellars of ashlar stone, called ´calados´ in La Rioja, keep our wines under optimum conditions of humidity and temperature.
