THE HOUSE
 This is a building catalogued as for Environment Protection, completely rehabilitated in june 2006.  It compresses two houses, which are internally communicated.
Casa el Arco has been rehabilitated in a conservative style (own stone, wood, and mud materials).
Casa Las Villas has been environmentally rehabilitated (original facades, materials, etc).  It can be appreciated the warm of the handicraft with quality materials (ceramic, wood carving, embroidery, restored elements...)
The complex has a garden, a children playground and barbecue.
If they wish, our guests can joint the daily tasks of the country side life, such as the sowing, orchard caring, watering, cereal harvest, fruit recollection, vegetables planting, tasks with domestic animals...

ACTIVITIES
Floral decoration: This is a course consisting in learning techniques to construct your own floral decorative forms (the flowers can be natural or artificial).  You can create ornaments for special moments, such as birthdays, Christmas...
You will be surprised by the creativity of the instructor.  You will be able to enjoy and learn at the same time, while you create special floral works.

Elaboration of “conservas” (tinned or canned food)
Marmalade, vegetables, pâté, sausages, meat stuffed products, etc.
We will learn the small secrets to elaborate natural and delicious products.  At the same time we will enjoy and learn.  You will be given all the necessary for the theory lectures and the practise of this activity.
 
Handicrafts course: Painting of crystal, tin works, flowers made of cloth, patchwork...
We can create our own charming little works.  You will receive everything necessary to make beautiful dishes, flowers, etc., and at the same time, you can share a good time with your partners.  Some of the courses can be follow by all the family.  At the end of the course everybody can keep his or her works.

Kitchen course: lectured by professional cookers that will show us the secrets of the new cooking, with surprising dish dispositions and new techniques.  We will create menus for special moments, such as Christmas, celebrations, etc.  We will learn all the cooking secrets by tasting the meals.

The surrounding
The Treviño villages area has lots of possibilities.  It is well communicated, there are appropriate tourist facilities and there is a great cultural richness and valuable landscapes.  In this way, you can enjoy both the modern Guggenheim museum in Bilbao and the traditional world of wine elaboration in the Wine Culture Museum in Briones, La Rioja, among many other places.  All this is just one hour away.

There are many nearby places to visit.
Wine caves and the wine world in the Rioja Alavesa (20 minutes away), and its principal town, Laguardia, which is also an appealing monumental resort.

Golfing in Izke (10 minutes away).
Cultural richness in Vitoria-Gasteiz (15 minutes away).  It is remarkable the historical centre of the city, Artium museum, and guided tour in the Cathedral of Santa María and its current works.
Interesting places to visit are the area of Treviño, the localities of Haro, Santo Domingo de la Calzada...
