La Malcontenta Hotel

In the 19th century lived a woman from the Ampurdàn Region.  She was as gorgeous and funny as perfectionist.  She kept its home in a neat state but was never satisfied...

She wanted her house to have the beauty and perfection of Bajo Ampurdán and nothing was beautiful enough for her.  For this reason she was called “La Malcontenta” (“the bad content”).

This “masía” (traditional country house) has been rehabilitated in 2005 and take its name after this legendary woman’s spirit; this woman who cared about every small detail.  We also want La Malcontenta Hotel to be the place she dreamed to live in.

This is a sober, refined, honest and mysterious place, the same than the Tramontana Mountain Range.
