Acevi Santillana

This was the first house of J.J. Barreda Yebra, according to the Marquis of Ensenada’s property register dated 1.753.

It is the origin of a Gothic house that was renovated at the end of the 17^th century or beginnings of the 18^th one, the upper floors were renovated at least twice: one at the end of the 19^th century or beginnings of the 20^th one.

With our presence in “Santillana del Mar”, Acevi Hotels wants to offer their clients an idyllic place full of history.

Our location in the centre of “Santillana del Mar”  allows the visitors to make numerous trips, moving in few minutes to unique places in the world, such as the Caves of Altamira.

”Santillana del Mar” is strategically located in “Cantabria” and can be used as a base where to spend the night in with the aim of visiting the whole Autonomous Community, being in the centre of all the places with tourist interest. It is therefore the best place in “Cantabria” if we intend to spend some days visiting the area.

In the very heart of the village, overlooking “la Plaza Mayor” (the biggest Square), we find the Acevi Santillana apartments.
